Sagano Romantic Train(Sagano Scenic Railway) with the autumn leaves

I visited Kyoto to see Sagano Scenic Railway's sightseeing train "Sagano Romantic Train".
This train runs along Hozukyo Gorge from Arashiyama to Sagano.
So we can enjoy not only the train but also the beauty of nature.

Autumn is the best season

In autumn, the mountains where the train runs are dyed red & yellow.
I think this train is most attractive to see at the season of autumn leaves.

Front face&Rear face

This is the front face of Sagano Romantic Train.
The head mark character "嵯峨野" pronounces "Sagano".It means the name of this area.
This leading train is a diesel car that is pulling other.

This is the rear face.

I like this train.Old-fashioned shape and coloring are super cool.

Torokko Hozukyo Station

Hozukyo torokko station

When you visit Sagano, also you may want to visit Hozukyo torokko station.
This is good old Japanese station.

From here, you can enjoy the beauty of Hozukyo Gorge.
